Exclusive workshop for GIPT’s final year students

During my recent seminar at GIPT on 25th Feb. I explained and demonstrated many applications of screen printing, especially I emphasized more on the print finishing and special effect screen printing with the help of my friend Kamlakar Wadekar of Ace Printers who was kind enough to devote his precious time at the GIPT campus for sharing many insights and secrets about print finishing.

Actually there are very few people in this world like him who can donate their precious time for such noble cause. According to me in today’s scenario donating money is more like a child’s play.

I also presented Mike Young’s emerging technologies to further broaden screen printing applications and area. In Mike’s presentation as he elaborated many industrial applications which are only possible thru screen printing. “Thank’s Mike for your generosity and sending me your superb comprehensive presentation”.

At the end of my workshop I was gathered around with many confused newbie with many interesting questions (which is very usual). So to answer some questions in an easy and practical manner, I invited all the final year students along with the faculty of GIPT on 6th March to DMI for a one day workshop so that students can get more idea about the modern screen printing process and techniques. This can further help them to take right decision in selecting correct application of their interest and areas to focus for their future.

When they came to DMI, they could not believe that screen printing is so modern and so advance, in fact in my terms screen printing is more sophisticated then any other process.

Finally my team have short listed few students for DMI’s next April batch and I am sure that our rigorous training will make them a successful printer.

On 8-9-10 March, I am busy at the Color Management Conference organized by my friend Kiran Prayagi, so more to come from me to fill your life with colors.

      Thanks for your comments.

The training currently in DMI is designed exclusively for passed out students from any Graphics or Printing institutes who wants to make career in screen printing. For professionals we run only workshops for three days covering major topics in screen printing process.

I think we can elaborate further on this issue over phone.
