US delegation led by my friend Mike Young visits DMI and Grafica customers

April 16, 2011 5 comments

I know that you are all missing my blog posts for over a month now. That’s because I have been fully preoccupied with lot of new developments. After I returned from FESPA AMERICA (that was my last blog post), I had series of planning and development activities including last DMI workshop, US delegation led by Mike Young, office shifting and streamlining lot of activities post-shifting of my sales, marketing and account office, visits to some international exhibitions, etc. But how long I can suffocate myself with so much news? So, next few paras are all about the immediate past events.

By the way, many big ideas are cropping up in my mind which I feel will create a new bench mark in the screen printing industry with the support of many industry leaders, friends and colleagues. So, just few months to pass before I announce big news that will again bring revolution in screen printing industry.

US delegation led by my friend Mike Young visits DMI and few Grafica customers’ facilities in Mumbai and Pune.

Last month Mike Young, a SGIA Fellows, a member of ASPT, led a US delegation of screen printing professionals to DMI/Grafica, following which I also arranged their visit to some leading customers in Mumbai and Pune as they wanted to get the feel of developments taking place in Indian screen printing industry. Mike and his colleagues were touched by the warm, gracious and generous hospitality of Grafica customers. From my side, I can say that this tour of India was mine and Mike Young’s “THE BEST BUSINESS TRAVEL EXPERIENCE EVER.”

They were in India from 28th March to April 1, 2011 to get familiar with DMI’s activities and to study the developments taking place in Indian screen printing industry as a whole.

Mike is a SGIA Fellows, a member of the Academy of Screen Printing Technology (ASPT) and recipient of the prestigious Swormstedt Award for technical writing. Mike who runs his own consultancy firm Imagetek Consulting International, has also conducted training programs in several screen printing companies in India.

Grafica feels proud to be associated with Mike Young time and again. In 2009 Grafica had sponsored his Knowledge Tour in India, covering various six major cities. Then recently Grafica was one of the prime sponsors of his technical seminars at SPI 2010 in Mumbai.

This time Mike Young’s visit to India was very special. There was no seminar, no presentation, but only mutual exchange of ideas with Team Grafica, DMI faculties and Grafica customers.

This visit was the fall out of FESPA AMERICAS held in Orlando, USA where I had conducted live workshop on value addition and special effects through screen printing process. I was among the five Global Screen Masters who had conducted live workshops during FESPA AMERICAS. The gentlemen were well impressed with my live demo and wanted to know more about DMI’s activities because they were very much impressed by the creativity which I explored in FESPA AMERICAS.

During his interactions with few Grafica customers Mike gave them many TIPS which will definitely help them to improve quality and enhance productivity. Mike was also kind enough to present his ‘Register Guide Technical Book, Part 2’ to few Grafica’s customers during his visit.

Grafica feel honored to have such an association with Mike Young. He has special heart for India and Indian screen printers. He sees a great future provided the screen printers in India remove all bottlenecks the major being “clean-room environment in the screen making and printing setup.” That’s because he saw hard working and sincere efforts by Indian screen printers to achieve quality through high level of automation. He is quite optimistic about Indian screen printers. He says that Indian screen printers can face the challenges ahead with determination, enthusiasm, passion and courage.

On behalf of DMI and my team, I sincerely thanks its customers – Fashion Accessories Pvt Ltd, Star Labels Pvt Ltd, Pinnacle Prints Pvt Ltd, Ace Printers, Sai Toys, Minda Stoneridge Ltd, Pune Metagraph Pvt Ltd, NBA Studios – for all their efforts, resources and valuable time spent with Mike Young and his team. My Team thanks Mike Young for visiting DMI and India to share his rich knowledge generously.

Back home these gentlemen wrote touching letters which are reproduced elsewhere in this newsletter along with Mike Young’s tour report.

Update on Nano-Print plus!

The production of our new innovation “Nano-Print plus” is now in full swing and dispatches are being commenced. There is a surprise to all those who have booked for this machine earlier. Nano-Print plus has been redesigned after meticulous R&D by our engineering team to offer bigger print area 22” x 28” instead of 18″ x 24″ print area with no additional cost.

NPL plus Package

Based on the runaway success of Nano-Premier League (NPL), ‘a complete screen printing solution’, introduced by my company a year ago, I am pleased to announce that we have also launched Nano-Premier League plus (NPL plus) which includes NANO-UV of 18″ curing width. Just like NPL, this unique package also consists of 11 items which is intended to give screen printers greater freedom to deliver high quality jobs with reasonable capital investments.

Grafica’s Cylinder Press

My company has achieved a big break-through in Gulf region and we have already installed several cylinder presses now in UAE. More orders being finalized both in India and abroad. That’s because there has been a growing trend of many offset printers and packaging printers embracing screen printing process for carrying out print finishing in house to provide value addition through screen printing process.

DMI Workshops

Since January 2011 I had conducted two workshops at DMI and next one is scheduled to be held on 21, 22 and 23 April. It gives me immense pleasure to reveal you all that till today DMI has provided high quality training to thousands of printing professionals across the globe through our regular workshops and corporate training programs. My next workshop is scheduled to be held on 9, 10 and 11th June. Do register your names online quickly from our website

At the recent DMI workshop, I demonstrated a new concept of process colour screen  printing requiring low investment. I lined up FOUR NANO-PRINTs with FOUR NANO-UV inline and screen printed 4-colour jobs instantly like a multi color screen printing line. The participants were curious and  enthusiastic to see the simple mechanism of Nano-Print semi automatic multi colour line.

This new concept: “NANO-PRINT semi automatic multi color line” is yet another revolution by Grafica with low investment for faster job turn around in four process colour screen printing with UV inks or multiple UV special effects printing.

Usually four process colour screen printing on a semi automatic machine is to be done one colour at a time and it is not possible to evaluate the final result until the 4th color is screen printed. But with this concept created by my company, screen printers can now instantly see the final output of the printed job and if required one can set the densities of a particular color or tweak the machine settings to get the final print as the proof.

This is really a time and money saving factor which one should start considering as a future investment. This concept also requires less manpower thus reduces supervision time and cost and can increases production at a rapid speed.”

Watch one minute video of this new concept of:

Grafica’s “NANO-PRINT semi automatic multi color line”

Also in the last workshop we had shown a glimpse of Epson T1100 A3+ inkjet printer to make in-house positives. In the coming workshop we will show live demo of how to generate positives without using expensive RIPs to create halftone positives.

This printer is a good investment for producing in-house positives and I am sure it will also replace screen printers who are using tracing papers for making positives. Believe me if you want to do quality jobs and want to improve sharpness and registration accuracy Epson T1100 is a better solution for all NANO-PRINT customers.

This printer can also be used for color prints and proofing. To see how to generate high quality positives using Epson T1100 and how to make halftone positives including process color (CMYK) without using RIPs than kindly register online and reserve your seat for the upcoming DMI workshop.

Rousing success at Gulf Print & Pack, Dubai

My company garnered rousing success at the recently concluded Gulf Print & Pack in Dubai from 14-17 March 2011. This was for the first time that Grafica displayed its Cylinder Press in an overseas exhibition. This was Grafica’s third appearance in the desert.

My Team consisting of Hanish Mehta, General Manager; Keyur Vashi, Sr. Sales Manager and other technical staff were camping in Dubai to manage the exhibition. Grafica’s participation in this exhibition was possible through Dilawar Dalwai of Al Mahir Printing Equipment Trading, Grafica’s loyal representative in Dubai.

Back in action after FESPA AMERICAS rich experience

March 16, 2011 5 comments

Before I begin to pen down my all recent news, I submit my sincere prayer: may GOD bless the people of Japan with peace and lot of inner powers to face the toughest challenges arising out of the recent earthquake and tsunami, its after effects including the nuclear crisis.

I personally like Japan and the Japanese technology; I respect their hardwork and dedication which they have put not only into electronics but also automobiles, engineering and other areas. They have given the world many fantastic innovations that cannot be ignored. Their ability to bounce back from the aftermath of the World War II is a great lesson to be learnt by rest of the world. And I am sure they would equally bounce back from the current crisis too.

I had worked with many Japanese in the past when I joined my father’s business in 1989. At that time we used to manufacture Printed Circuit Boards and our company Grafica Display used to cater to many of the giant electronic companies in India having collaboration with renowned Japanese organizations. So my experience with them was really amazing. I have learnt a lot from them, their system of working, management, production and quality systems, how to achieve production efficiency etc. etc… (Photos of my training in Japan)

Once again I strongly pray to GOD to give them great support and courage to face such devastating tragedy.

Now let me share my rich experience at FESPA AMERICAS event in Orlando, USA.

First of all, I sincerely thank FESPA and their team for giving me such a great honor by inviting to conduct a joint workshop with great masters.

It was a valiant effort by FESPA for experimenting and bringing such great idiosyncratic talents together under one roof. It was great fun and a rare experience working with such veterans of our industry.

Michel and I were suppose to teach process color and graphics screen printing but what I realized from this show that Print Finishing for value addition has a HUGE, HUGE scope in the US market. Screen printers in the US have great potential in this segment and need to explore the idea of print finishing which I am teaching in DMI since last three years. Thousands of screen printers have already benefitted by learning print finishing from DMI Workshops FREE OF COST…

Michel looked very energetic throughout the show as always, Charlie and Scott were great together and my new friend Ad Versteeg was also great human and knowledgable in art screen printing.

Overall the show was mix of all printing technologies, screen, digital, textile and few stands selling offset machines and stuffs.

Also, I had a great time with friend Mike Young who came with few of his industry friends and colleagues, Ron Hayden, David ECKL, Jon Andresen. We had great time and delicious dinners together.

After the FESPA AMERICAS at Orlando, Mike Young was kind enough to take me in an around New York city and we had some fun moments together.

With me Hanish Mehta and Shashank Khedekar were also there to support me throughout the show while I was busy at the workshop.

I was highly enthused when I saw our NPL system running perfectly during the live workshop. The best part, it was appreciated by all visitors who saw our super creation.

The overwhelming response towards NANO-PRINT, NANO-SCREEN MAKER 5-in-1, NANO-UV and NANO-SHARPENER give clear indication that Grafica will definitely mark success in the US market soon.

It made me feel proud and the day is not far when NANO-PRINT, NANO-PRINT plus and complete NPL package will be part of success story of many screen printers in US.

With this remarkable achievement by our company, I am highly glad to announce that from next month onwards Grafica will have full fledged operation to cater the American market with efficient sales team and highly qualified service engineers to offer prompt technical support.

DMI Workshop starting tomorrow:

It will be very busy week for me because less time and more task to complete in a short span of time. This time I am expecting 45 to 50 participants mainly from outside Mumbai. That’s because of huge gap within two workshop dates due to FESPA AMERICAS.

During the workshop, for the first time, I would be demonstrating semi automatic multi color screen printing by lining up 4 Nano-Print with inline Nano-UV. I am sure participants will gain new insights how to improve production capacity with minimum investment thus maintaining high quality standards.

On second day I would demonstrate creatives and new ideas in wedding cards and packaging through screen printing. Some of these jobs will be executed on Grafica’s new Nano-Print plus and Nano-Print.

On third day as usual I would be demonstrating practical on heat transfer screen printing both tagless neck labels and garment printing.

Dubai Exhibition:

I was also informed by my team that our Dubai exhibition is going great guns and they managed to book more than a dozen of NPL package and couple of Cylinder Presses. Grafica is creating a storm in the desert that’s because this is our  3rd exhibition in Dubai within one year. WOW that’s great news to keep me energetic.

Garknit-X Kolkata

My has company created a great interest among West Bengal’s offset printing community at the recently concluded Garknit-X Kolkata, an exhibition focussed on apparel, knitting, leather and jute technology fabric and accessories.

Garknit-X Kolkata was held from 25 – 27, February 2011 at Science City. Although it was a garment, textile and jute industry event, in order to take full advantage of the exhibition, we had invited several printers from offset and non-textile segment. We had also displayed a set of creative print finishing samples with a variety of special effects produced by DMI students which stirred the creative minds of many offset printers.

They were lucky to see live demo of Grafica’s NPL and NPL plus series of screen printing machine and equipment for the first time in Kolkata.

And finally, kudos to DMI students:

In a fitting tribute to the successive achievements at ASPT, Screenprinting & Graphics Association of India (SGAI) in association with Screen Print India felicitated DMI students at their Awards felicitation program in Mumbai on 2nd March 2010. The awards were present by Al Guercio, President, Ulano Corporation, USA.

Being in FESPA AMERICAS I really missed the opportunity to see my students being felicitated. They were also honoured for their achievements in the ASPT 2010 students’ competition.

My company’s new office in Mumbai:

Before my official announcement, I am delighted to inform you that GRAFICA FLEXTRONICA is beginning its new office in Mumbai very close to the domestic airport and international airport. Our office will be fully functional by 21st of March 2011.

So from 21st onwards all the marketing, sales and accounts related matters will be handled from our new Mumbai office.

Customers can now come down to our Mumbai office instead of going all the way to directly factory. For customers who want to visit our factory for demo, trials and inspection of our machines, special arrangements have been made to reach our factory.

We shall intimate you soon with full contact details of our new office once the telephones lines are hooked up.

To all my respected customers, friends and industry colleagues, this is my personal invitation to visit our new office anytime and shower your good wishes. To have a cup of tea or coffee together will also be a great fun.

So, from 21st March 2011 see you in at our new Vile Parle office in Mumbai.

February 19, 2011 2 comments

All set to fly to Orlando, USA within next few hours to join the elite club of 5 Global Screen Masters who are going to conduct exhaustive 3-day workshops on advanced screen printing during the FESPA AMERICAS on 24, 25 and 26th February 2011. CLICK HERE FOR WORKSHOP SCHEDULE

My brand new screen printing package now popularly called as Nano Premier League (NPL) has already reached Orlando for the workshop. A set of DMI’s creative samples has also been sent along with NPL to promote my print finishing concept for value addition through screen printing.

‘Orlando’ is synonymous with the famous Walt Disney World or Disney World, the world’s largest and most-visited recreational resort. If this world famous resort was inspired by the dreams of Walt Disney, then FESPA AMERICAS I would say, is inspired by the think tanks of FESPA Board to fulfill the aspirations of American Screen Printers. And I would look forward to conduct this workshop which I hope would bring fun to every attendee as much as the Disney World.

So, please stay tuned to my blog for daily update with photographs which I shall upload on day to day basis after the workshop. Because this is going to be one of the first of its kind creative live workshop on advanced screen printing organised by FESPA.

GULF PRINT PACK 2011, Dubai – 14 to 17 March 2011

WoW! This would be our second appearance in an international exhibition within 45 days. Recently we had successfully exhibited wide range of screen printing machines and allied equipment in the 14th Annual Sign and Graphic Imaging Middle East exhibition at Dubai Airport Expo.

Now once again my team is busy in preparing for the International exhibition on Printing & Packaging Industry to be held at Dubai Airport Expo from 14-17 March 2011. This would be our third exhibition within one year in Dubai.

This time we are demonstrating 30″ x 40″ Cylinder Press with inline UV with all new improved features like sticky roller for dust removal and antistatic system along with NPL package.

Gulf Print & Pack focuses on the latest innovations in printing machinery, substrates and other solutions that will allow the screen printing business to grow in many folds.

Garknit-X, Kolkata – 25 to 27 February 2011

And now we have this GarKnit-X in Kolkata next week which is an international trade show on apparel, knitting, leather and jute technology fabric & accessories, to be held at Science City from February 25 – 27, 2011. We will be displaying our complete NPL package for the first time in eastern region all with new and improved features besides array of DMI’s creative samples all 100% screen printed.

Nano-Print plus production commenced…

The production of our new innovation “Nano-Print plus” is now in full swing. There is a surprise to all those who have booked for this machine earlier. Nano-Print plus has been redesigned after meticulous R&D by our engineering team to offer bigger print area 22” x 28” instead of 18″ x 24″ print area with no additional cost.

By the way we have also started to offer NPL plus package. Download PDF for more details about attractive discounts offered on NPL plus

What’s new to see in next DMI Workshop:

NEW Series of Packaging design and innovation through screen printing with special effect.

I will also be showing my new concept – Nano Print semi automatic multi color line using 100 LPI halftone dots.

The reason to show this innovative concept in my workshop from now onwards is to educate how to reduce manpower and supervision cost and how to increases productivity. This is something I believe never done before in the screen printing industry with semi automatic machines.

So folks finally have a nice weekend and don’t forget to see my FESPA AMERICAS workshop blog and photos daily from 24th onwards.

Thank you an good bye for now…

Eureka! Grafica’s NANO-PRINT – Semi Automatic Multi Color Line

February 11, 2011 24 comments

This week I had to produce a process color samples for my forthcoming FESPA AMERICA workshop in Orlando. So with the intention of proofing the job faster I experiment by lining up FOUR NANO-PRINT’s with FOUR NANO-UV inline at my DMI’s training centre and screen printed the job instantly like a multi color screen printing line. It was amazing experience.

Usually printing single color one at a time you cannot judge the final result until the last color is screen printed but with this concept you can instantly see the final output of the printed image and if required you can set the densities of a particular color or tweak the machine settings to get the final print as the proof. This is really a time and money saving factor which one should start considering as a future investment.

This concept also requires less manpower thus reduces supervision cost and increases your production at a rapid speed. This is something I believe never done before in the screen printing industry with semi automatic machines.

The simple plan has turned out to be a great concept which I feel would be a next leap in the screen printing industry.

This is yet another revolution I am looking forward to happen with low investment and get faster job turn around with this New Concept Grafica’s “NANO-PRINT semi automatic multi color line”.

Watch out  video of this concept live in action…

Meet the five global gurus at Screen Masters Workshop at FESPA AMERICAS, Orlando

February 7, 2011 16 comments

When I received an email from Frazer Chesterman, Managing Director of FESPA:

“Hi Bhargav, I am running a Workshop in America at our new show – FESPA Americas. It will be an on the floor event for US students of Screen.

I am interested in you being part of the Screen Masters concept.

It would be Michel Caza master for Graphics

Charlie Taulieb and Scott Fresener for T-shirts and Textile

Ad Versteeg for Art

And you for special effects”

I was thrilled, excited and my immediate response to his email was ‘yes’ with lot of enthusiasm to join the four global gurus and expert in their respective field. Now I will be the fifth global guru to demonstrate my expertise in special effect screen printing jointly with Michel Caza in graphics process color screen printing.

I, Scott, Charlie, Ad and Michel were very excited to be the part of Screen Master Workshop organized in this giant show FESPA AMERICAS in Orlando, USA.

Below is what Michel Caza commented to Frazer when he heard about this unique concept for the first time.

Dear Frazer,

“I love the idea of workshop. We could manage something both for screen high tech in graphic screen (very fine line halftone screen printing), share between Bhargav who is the best teacher in the world (see the giant success of DMI in India) and me. We are used to work together.

In textile, may be my new technology in water based UV printing on garment combined with Charlie’s special effects.”

With Michel Caza this would be my second workshop experience after the FESPA 2010 Munich show.

So, I was invited by FESPA as one of the FIVE Global Screen Masters to conduct live workshops on advanced screen printing process and special effect in print finishing at their forthcoming FESPA AMERICAS Workshop.

The other four “Screen Masters” or the international screen printing experts are:

SGIA Parmele Award winners, Michel Caza, France and Scott Fresener, USA.

Charlie Taublieb, Taublieb Consulting USA.

Ad Versteeg, Secretary of Het Zeefdruk Instituut, Netherlands.

FESPA AMERICAS is an international exhibition-cum-conference to be held from February 24-26, 2011 at Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, USA. This is FESPA’s first ever Screen Masters Workshop.

Hosted daily by five screen industry gurus, participants will benefit from our collective expertise. Michel Caza and I would reveal the Secrets of Great Graphics Printing and special effects, print finishing for value addition. A large number of visitors are expected to gain lot of tips and innovative ideas from all of us.

Joining the elite club of Global Screen Printers at FESPA AMERICAS is not only a great honor to me, my company Grafica and my institute DMI but also to my beloved country.

When it comes to the scope and opportunities in screen printing many experts from all over world generally speak about Industrial screen printing, textile, graphics, decals etc. but screen printing has huge demand in print finishing for value addition not only in offset prints and packaging products but also in many other segments. I was told that printers in USA have not identified the power and secrets of screen printing in print finishing the way I am exploring and promoting it in India through my institute DMI.

In a way, FESPA AMERICAS workshop is a pioneering step intended to provide the passionate community of screen printers with an exclusive opportunity to gain practical tips and expert advice on how to achieve phenomenal print results from the five global Screen Masters.

The Five Global Screen Masters are being invited to deliver a blend of hands-on training and technical presentations, focused around garment decoration, fine arts, signs and graphics, print finishing and special effect.

To make this concept a success I will be leaving next week to Orlando for FESPA AMERICAS show along with my team and Grafica’s NANO PREMIER LEAGUE package to run live workshop.

I will be also displaying a wide variety of print finishing samples and process color screen printing samples to teach special effect in screen printing to US screen printers and graphic students.

Especially for this show I have designed a poster which I will be screen printed live on NANO-PRINT. Since Michel was expert in screen printing 150 to 300 LPI he wanted me to print minimum 100 LPI on NANO-PRINT to demonstrate his expertise. So with all his online help and support my students did the proofing on NANO-PRINT to make sure everything is set right for the workshop.

My students worked very hard to with me continuously day and night for one week to linearize the whole process to successfully screen print 100 LPI on NANO-PRINT. In fact I was stunned to see such a fantastic result of four color graphics screen printed on NANO-PRINT with 100 LPI.

In fact I created an ICC profile on NANO-PRINT using my Profile Maker before my students screen printed the final proof. We did lot of intense trials and proofing and I think my experiment will be a guiding light to many of my customers who want to successfully print process color screen printing on Grafica’s NANO-PRINT.

Here is the photo of the final proof shot from my iPhone screen printed with 100 LPI on NANO-PRINT.

To print this specially designed FESPA AMERICAS poster, we lined up four NANO PRINTS with four NANO-UV inline. This was our first experiment of printing CMYK at one go on NANO-PRINT just like a multi color screen printing lines. This concept will be a new trend setter in future because its the best time saving system.

This concept was really helpful to me when I printed this proof because I got clear idea how the image will finally look after all four colors are printed. This also saved my time to make proper decisions.

The best part of this concept is you can re-correct or tweak the setting of machines without wasting time to set proper densities as per profile to achieve correct  grey balanced image or else you have to wait for the result of your image after the final (fourth) color is screen printed.

Once the video of four NANO-PRINT with four inline NANO-UV is ready I will send you the link to know how four NANO-PRINT works together with inline NANO-UV to print CMYK on after another.

But time being checkout this short video which I have uploaded on YouTube again taken from my iPhone.

My plan in FESPA AMERICAS is to show practical part of print finishing with Michel Caza. In the print finishing segment I am going to demonstrate The Cake Basket which has several special effects. Since there is a time limit for everyones presentation, so I have printed some of the effects at DMI and only six effects will be printed live at the workshop.

The FESPA AMERICAS is expected to provide the US, Central and South American region with a completely different show case of wide format digital, screen and textile printing innovations.

The event is supposed to give lot of insights to participants who can witness the complete screen printing process and have the exclusive opportunity to absorb passion of ‘FIVE’ Screen Masters.

Founded in 1962, FESPA is a not-for-profit federation of trade associations and an organizer of exhibitions and conferences for the screen and digital printing industries and I have been associated with FESPA since last six years.

I have done lot of road shows and workshops in India but FESPA AMERICA would be my first landmark experience as I would be conducting live workshop for the first time overseas. I am sure the workshop of five Global Screen Masters will create a great impact in the US screen printing market.

If you get chance to visit FESPA AMERICAS, Orlando do register your seats for “Screen Masters Workshop” and learn great new techniques in screen printing from the five global gurus.

Hope to see you soon…

Incredible experience at Print Pack India 2011!

January 25, 2011 12 comments

Hi everyone,

I am back in Mumbai, to be precisely, right in front of my laptop to write this blog intended to share my unforgettable experience at a week-long mega event PRINT PACK INDIA 2011 held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi (16-21 January 2011).

I and my team were really delighted to witness a marvelous turnout of visitors (and plenty of orders!), seeking to know about Grafica’s technology and various value addition possibilities through screen printing process.

I must acknowledge that following my company’s thumbing success at Screen Print India exhibition held in Mumbai in early December 2010, we accomplished yet another booming success at PRINT PACK INDIA, an exhibition of large scale focussing very less on screen printing process and more on other printing processes such as packaging, offset, flexo, etc which was in fact a blessing in disguise. During the show we created lot of curiosity among thousands of printing professionals. That’s because my company always focuses on technology and education.

Since many years we have been participating in Print Pack India and Pamex exhibition regularly. These major exhibitions are usually focused on offset printing/packaging. However, this year at PRINT PACK, even at last Pamex, I noticed that maximum time spent at our stall was by a large number of offset and packaging printers who curiously wanted to know more about print finishing for value addition. My company once again proved that screen printing complements offset very well.

I have been repeatedly telling that my company Grafica not only focuses on products during such exhibitions but we give special emphasis on explaining how printers can explore various possibilities to add value through the power of screen printing process.

An array of DMI’s creative samples gallery including some of the finest special effect screen printed packaging products stirred the creative minds of many offset printers who once used to neglect the power of screen.

I have always marked that when it comes to the scope and opportunities in screen printing many experts from all over world generally speaks about Industrial screen printing, textile, graphics, decals etc. but let me advice you that screen printing has huge demand in print finishing for value addition not only on offset prints and packaging products but also in many other segments. Frankly very few people in the screen printing industry have identified the power and secrets of screen printing in different applications and segments. Actually screen printing is the best and economical solutions and has hundreds of options to decorate your printed jobs.

In this matter I would urge all Ink manufacturers and suppliers to work really hard to develop low cost high quality speciality UV Inks and Varnishes which will help to boost the screen printing industry in various applications and segments.

And this reminds me of the comment made by Prof. Dr. Rajendra Kumar Anayath, Print Media Academy, Chennai – a Heidelberg Initiative. After a complete tour of our stall including DMI’s gallery he told me: “Bhargav, screen printing today is not what it was 6-7 years ago. With the kind of experiments that you are making at your DMI, it appears to me that it has emerged as a printing process to be reckoned with.” Being a printing professional and educationist from the offset arena, his remark is quite significant.

DMI’s creative sample gallery was looking awesome and thousands of visitors took great advantage by grilling team Grafica and DMI students to gain deeper insights into the concept of value addition through specialty screen printing.

This time all my students of recent batch were lucky to join my at Print Pack exhibition in New Delhi. Since I wanted to give them more hands on experience I thought this was a right moment for them to show their performance and share their experience with other printing professionals which they got through my training and classes. In fact they were quite active in showing and explaining visitors how such effects could be produced, that’s because many of the samples were screen printed by these students as part of their curriculum activity at DMI.

Today in a competitive printing world, dominated by print buyers, to get even 5% price increase from customers for regular offset printed jobs is very difficult. But by simply adding some special effects through screen printing process one can even get 10% to 50% price increase or even more. To earn this extra profit it does not require too much of investment as compared to the huge cost of offset presses. And this is what we demonstrated at PRINT PACK INDIA.

So, hundreds of printers including some new generation printing professionals from offset and packaging were stunned and delighted to see an array of DMI’s creative samples – 100% screen printed with various UV special effects for value addition. They wanted to know how such magnificent jobs could be created by screen printing process.

Nano-Print plus was again the show stopper in this exhibition. In fact when I launched this machine I always thought that Nano-Print and Nano-Print plus will follow a ratio of 60%~70% (Nano-Print) and 30%~40% (Nano-Print plus). But it’s amazing to know that it turned out the other way round even though the price of Nano-Print plus is a bit expensive than the previous version Nano-Print.

I am really excited to know that the design and feature of “plus” is very well appreciated and accepted in the screen printing industry with many simple and added features. The size of Nano-Print plus 22″ x 28″ (inch) which we are now offering as a standard model instead of 18″ x 24″ is also one of the factors for the tremendous response. Screen printers do not mind even if they have to pay just few pennies extra to get bigger print area.

Interestingly, we hardly booked individual machines. Almost all bookings were NPL/NPL-plus package which offers a unique combination of my company’s Nano range of products at an unbelievable price. Many customers who booked the NPL commented that no one could have even imagined get such high quality, high standard advanced complete automation system with big savings.

One thing is clear, printers are now realizing the need and importance of screen making. They have realized the great benefit of having a complete screen printing unit in-house rather than just buying a screen printing machine which makes them dependent on outside agencies for screen making.

NANO-PREMIER LEAGUE (NPL) For Print Area 15″ x 20″ & NANO-PREMIER LEAGUE plus (NPL plus) For Print Area 22″ x 28″ package is one of Grafica best engineering designed by my team of engineers. Today with this economic package, every screen printer can think of rejuvenating his screen printing unit.

I was surprised to know from my team that they managed to book more than 100 NPL package during the 6 day show at Print Pack India, which is mainly focused on Offset Printing, packaging and converting. This means 40% more business compare to Screen Print India held in December 2010 at Mumbai which is a focused exhibition on screen printing subject.

In fact, I never dreamt of that Grafica’s CYLINDER PRESS will roar with super extraordinary performance. I can say in the next coming 3-4 months we expect to get one dozen Cylinder Press orders as an outcome of PRINT PACK INDIA and that is in addition to the order booking for 6 cylinder presses at the exhibition itself. This would ensure us to cross half century (50) in our Cylinder Press sales.

There has been a growing trend of many offset printers and packaging printers embracing screen printing process for carrying out print finishing in house instead of depending on outsourcing. So, as anticipated by me well before the exhibition, there were many orders and serious enquiries from offset and packaging segment. This is indeed a good sign of prosperity for screen printing industry.

It was amazing to see the large pool of visitors watching the live demo of Grafica’s NANO-PRINT plus for quite long time and my team was pleased to attend their queries and closing the deals. Even I did not sit idle and I was fully engaged in attending to many of my customers and leading printers showing them my DMI’s sample gallery and teaching them new ideas and techniques to improve their skills and knowledge. In fact my main focus in all exhibition is to invite graphics students from various colleges and attend them personally and to show what’s new in screen printing. Interacting with students helps me to understand their minds and to know their knowledge about screen printing process. I try my hard to ignite them to join the screen printing industry through my institute DMI.

I had the fortune of meeting several valued customers of my company. It was fun to exchange ideas with them. Meeting customers regularly keeps me updated and it also improves my general knowledge about the latest developments going around in the industry.

Because of the popularity of PRINT PACK which is a multi dimensional trade event, there were visitors from almost all the states besides host city New Delhi. With the kind of response we received at our stall, I can say Screen Printing is rocking and will make a major headway in the years. I am also sure there are still abundant opportunities in screen printing only one has to explore by using all the advanced technology with right knowledge.

Today, I am proud that by exhibiting my screen printing machines at offset/packaging dominated exhibitions, my company Grafica has completely changed the scenario of screen printing industry. As always, Grafica’s stall in all exhibitions create lots of curiosity among thousands of printing professionals. I can even proudly say that my company Grafica is working very hard by creating a powerful impact of screen printing process in the printing industry.

I thank all my customers, well wishers and friends in the printing industry who were very supportive to us in this show. I also give special thanks to all those who have given strong reference to others to buy Grafica’s machines. I got refreshed myself when so many DMI Workshop participants visited our stall and greeted me and my DMI team.

So keep in touch and visit us in every event that my company Grafica may participate in future to stay updated with latest trends and developments in the screen printing technology.

To know more about new techniques and advance screen printing process join my DMI Workshops. My next DMI Workshop is scheduled from 17 to 19 March 2011.

Hey, before I forget if you are graphic designer, pre-press operator, wedding card designer or into any kind of designing and want to be more creative then from now onwards DMI is the best place for you to learn many great time saving tips and tricks in Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, Acrobat, Bridge etc. directly from the experts from ADOBE INDIA, Rajesh Patil who did a fantastic presentation in my last workshop for more than 3 hours on Adobe Creative Suite Design Premium 5.0.

At DMI, Learn More | Earn More…

Finally I cannot end up this blog without thanking my entire Grafica and DMI team – my rocking stars – who performed brilliantly presented Grafica which made us special from other exhibitors at Print Pack India 2011.

Hope to see you soon…

More than 1200 printing professionals took training at DMI

January 12, 2011 10 comments

It gives me immense pleasure to reveal you all that till today DMI has provided high quality training to more than 1200 printing professionals across the globe through our regular workshops and corporate training programs.

I am also thrilled to know from my team that NANO-PRINT plus is receiving overwhelming response. In just one month after its launch at Screen Print India 2010 exhibition we booked 36 machines. This gives me complete satisfaction that the design of this machine has been widely accepted and highly appreciated by every screen printer. My team has really worked hard to maintain a very reasonable price tag of this machine at the same time keeping a strict vigil on the design and manufacturing.

I am sure NANO-PRINT & NANO-PRINT plus will be trend setters in bringing automation in the screen printing industry all over the world.

Currently NANO range of machine i.e, NANO-PRINT & NANO-PRINT plus, NANO-SCREEN MAKER 5-in-1, NANO-UV & NANO-SHARPENER are not only getting popular in India but we are receiving many serious inquiries daily from overseas market.

For those who have missed the opportunity to see NANO-PRINT plus and our unique package NANO PREMIER LEAGUE (NPL) at Screen Print India 2010 in Mumbai, do not get dejected because we are all set to shows these machines live again at Print Pack India 2011 from 16 to 21 Jan 2011 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

So do visit us at Hall 9, Stall 5, 6 & 8.

How can you miss to see DMI’s latest creative sample gallery, 100% screen printed special effects? By seeing our creativity, you will definitely get new ideas in screen printing for value addition.

I recently concluded one more houseful workshop at DMI. This time there were more than 40 participants including one from Tanzania and one from Mauritius (my new customer).

This time to show innovative print finishing and packaging, we designed a new type of corporate folder with rare color combination of white on a silver foil paper board. The rest of silver foil was overprinted with 3D reflective design to give the most popular ‘micro embossing’ effect which is otherwise produced on a very expensive micro embossing machine. The final product we made in this workshop was Grafica’s new corporate folder, pen holder and sweet / chocolate box.

Previously all our folders and creative samples in packaging and print finishing had 10 to 16 special effects, but this time I made it a point to restrict it to 3 or max 4 special effects. I tried to make the product look more powerful in terms of design and aesthetic look. In fact the reason why I always incorporate so many effects was to cover all types special effects but at the same time participants used to always tell me that I should make design in such a way that the experiment looks viable to sell in the market and not to add too many effects for the sake of demonstration of value addition.

To restrict colors and effects on my practical jobs execution were challenging because we had to maintain very high standards in terms of aesthetics and at the same time limit the cost to a minimum. So, since the last two workshops we have developed packaging products with 3 or 4 colors/effects. At the same time designed in such a way that it looked elegant and premium product but still viable for printers to quote for their customers.

On silver foil mostly I have seen printers print only matt or special effect varnish to make the product effective. Even offset printers usually print process color CMYK but very rarely I have seen printers use white on silver foil. Believe me, white looks very rich in terms of elegance and design aspects. So this time we printed half white, half with 3D reflective ink (micro embossing), on few areas metallic orange and finally thick emboss effect (which many know or I call as Ticky) using 150 micron thick film.

The photos of all this screen printed stuff will give you a clear idea of what I have explained to you here. To know more about such ideas, do register online for my next workshop scheduled for 17-18-19 March 2011.

In this workshop we have added one more flavor in our training program by inviting Rajesh Patil, an expert from Adobe to provide useful, important time saving tips and tricks, using CS5 design premium.

As he informed me before few days that he would take only 1.5 hour session at DMI since it was his first presentation in my institute.

But he subtly observed during his presentation that everyone was quite serious in watching his informative eye-opening presentation, he extended his session and took more than 3 hours, showing many tricks of In-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop CS5. In fact I also realized such session would require more than 3 hours to give justification to the subject.

My institute DMI is now closely associating with Adobe Systems India to provide more time and in-depth knowledge about all Adobe design softwares.

If you are a designer, wedding card producer, a pre-press operator or in-charge of your in-house designing studio or screen printer who wants to make good designer paper carry bags, sweets / chocolate boxes or even advertising agencies, then our next workshop will be very enriching for you.

So, don’t miss our next workshop because I and Rajesh will work closely to make sure we cover the most part of the CS5 Design Premium software which will be useful for printers.

Next, I feel proud to be associated with Mike Young time and again. In 2009 I had sponsored his Knowledge Tour in India, covering various six major cities.

This time my company was one of a prime sponsors of his technical seminars at SPI 2010. Let me tell you little about my friend Mike.

He is a SGIA Fellows, a member of the Academy of Screen Printing Technology and recipient of the prestigious Swormstedt Award for technical writing.

Despite the hectic Screen Print India seminars, he visited my DMI institute and my companies shop floor. He was thrilled to see my DMI’s library which has a collection of various screen printing magazines and books dating back to 1960s. Immediately he told the students to take full advantage of DMI’s facilities including the library.

I must acknowledge and thank MikeYoung because he kind heartedly felicitated the DMI students for winning successive awards in ASPT competitions for the last four years.

Since it was virtually impossible for my students to go to USA every year to collect the award, when Mike Young presented them the certificates and cash awards which was given to each student by DMI.

I am also thankful to Mike for his thought-provoking interview which I have recently published in my Grafica News and e-News. Those who have not read the interview “What are the new and growing profitable markets for screen printers?” HERE IS THE LINK

Knowledge-wise, my customers are lucky these days because in my current and last issue of Grafica News, another international screen printing expert, Mike Ruff, the Chief Technology Officer of Nazdar Consulting Services, was kind enough to contribute two exclusive technical articles for Grafica News which contain lot of tips on color management.

Article 1 | Article 2

I am really indebted to Mike Ruff for his generous contribution for the benefit of my customers and screen printing industry at large. I know Mike Ruff for the last several years ever since I started reading his informative articles. I became closer to him after I became ASPT board member. His experience in the graphics printing industry spans more than 40 years. He is a certified G7 Color Calibration Expert and a regular instructor at the SPTF Graphics Four-Color Workshop in Fairfax, VA, and he has authored numerous articles published in trade publications domestically and internationally.

The PDF version of our Grafica News is now available for download from our website. Those who are not receiving Grafica News you can still download the soft copy.

We are publishing Grafica News since 2004 and circulating around 5000 copies all over India and abroad.

Apart from printers I also make sure to send printed copies to OE’s, Advertising Agencies and Print Buyers. This help them to find suitable printer solution provider.

By this way Grafica updates print buyers about the latest trends in screen printing.

Finally let me end here because I have many task to prepare for Print Pack India 2011 to make sure we make our best presentation at this mega trade event.

At this exhibition all six days we will be printing various special effect on all Cylinder Press, Cam-Shell, Two-Post, Nano-Print plus, Nano-Print with UV inks and varnish.

The latest DMI’s creativity which was recently screen printed in the last workshop will be demonstrate. So do not miss to watch and gain some insights, new tricks on value addition and print finishing.

Our complete DMI creative sample gallery will also be the show stopper for printers who looking for value addition through screen printing and wants to make more profits with minimum investments.

Kindly visit us at Hall 9, Stall 5,6 & 8 to see latest creativity in screen printing technology.

See ya at Print Pack India 2011…

Happy New Year 2011

January 1, 2011 11 comments

Let me begin my first blog of the year with great wishes to all of you and your family:

It has been wonderful year which just faded away on the horizon. But I still recollect those sweet memories of associating with you during various exhibitions, DMI workshop and road shows and of course through my blog.

DMI was inaugurated in 2006 and today it’s entering 5th year of service to screen printing industry, I never imagined that it would be an institute to be reckoned with… but today it is one step ahead! DMI, a regular award winner in national and international competitions,  has been now recognized by the screen printing industry as a world class knowledge centre for advanced screen printing, conducting FREE 3-day workshops besides other technical seminars and offering training to print technology students.

DMI is not limited to India only. In the past I have seen participants coming various other countries like… USA, Dubai, Qatar, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Mauritius… So far, as per my knowledge, nearly 1000 printing professionals took benefit from DMI’s workshops and other programs.

This is in addition to my ‘Screen on Screen’ video film screened in 15 cities and small towns two years ago, benefiting over 1500 screen printers many of whom never had the opportunity  or access to ‘advanced screen printing’ knowledge.

I do not want to go in detail about the outcome. There has been a stupendous response and for me it was simply touching moment; because I could see smiles on the faces of hundreds of screen printers when they listen to my presentation, where else they get such enriching experience in terms of knowledge in screen printing.

Today, DMI is also a knowledge centre for many corporate customers who send their team to my institute to upgrade their knowledge in screen printing.

I am now gearing up for a great moment ahead. First the workshop at DMI on 7, 8, 9 January 2011… wait for my post-workshop blog with action photos of this workshop after 9th Jan. But those who have never attended my workshop at DMI, I have my next workshop lined up on 17, 18 and 19th March 2011. Please make sure you register for this workshop online.

My team is also hectic in the preparation for the PRINT PACK INDIA to be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi – 16 to 21st January 2011. Hope to see you all there.

Just to remind you subtly, my company had launched the new NANO-PRINT plus with fabulous features at Screen Print India in Mumbai recently. Those who have missed to see the live demo of NANO-PRINT plus in Mumbai can now have yet another opportunity at PRINT PACK INDIA.

We will also be displaying other machines live – Cylinder Press with new features and advance feeder, Semi-Automatic Cam Shell, Two Post Pillar with Auto Take-Off system, UV dryers, Nano-Premier League. Also do not miss to see the large collection of DMI’s screen printed samples to learn more about new and latest techniques in screen printing.

CLICK HERE to know more about Grafica’s new CYLINDER PRESS with added features and new advanced feeder.

Let this winter be more and more chill, but let your screen printing business be more and more warmer with new ideas and creativity.

Wish you Good luck.

I do not want keep on scribbling in this first blog of the year which is intended to say THANK YOU ALL.

And, WISH YOU A HAPPY NEW YEAR once again.

Merry Christmas

NANO-PRINT plus A show stopper wins Best Product Award at SPI 10 Exhibition

December 16, 2010 5 comments

Mike Young unveil’s Grafica’s NANO-PRINT plus at Screen Print India 2010 Exhibition in presence of Michael Robertson, President & CEO, SGIA, USA.

I and my team are just back in office after 3 hectic days at Screen Print India Exhibition in Mumbai last week end. I will take you through a short tour of this exhibition.

The team Grafica was jubilant since early morning as Grafica’s NANO-PRINT plus, which was under the wrap, was waiting to be unveiled by the honored guests who were present to kick start the Screen Print India Exhibition, held on 8, 9, 10 December 2010 in Mumbai.

It was a prestige moment for me and for my team Grafica as Mike Young, member of SGIA & ASPT and an international screen printing guru along with Michael Robertson, President & CEO of SGIA, USA, pulled the ribbon and cut the cake to mark the launch of Grafica’s NANO-PRINT plus.

I was also delighted to see the large gathering around the NANO-PRINT plus which included delegates many national & international industry associations.

Yes we had quite a large sized cake with NANO-PRINT plus written on it. I ensured that everyone present on the occasion was offered a piece of cake to celebrate the occasion. NANO-PRINT plus hospitality lasted till evening since customers and visitors were continuously thronging to see the live demo of my newly launched screen printing machine.

I was touched when Mike Young and Michael Robertson gave big thumps up for Grafica’s NANO-PRINT plus. Their compliments on my company’s efforts to bring such an innovative and eye catching screen printing machine has inspired my entire team. I was astonished to see when Mike Young, an international screen printing expert, inspected the machine in and out and watched the live demo.

My valued customers and other visitors to our stall gave big thumps up to this ‘first of its kind’ in the world screen printing machine. Some of the comments which I heard was: “marvelous engineering”, “simple to use”, “great machine”, “Well done Grafica”, “Fantastic machine of spot UV jobs”.

Interestingly, Jayesh Prajapati of Santosh Printers, a delighted customer  of Grafica’s NANO-PRINT, came all the way from Rajkot to congratulate me for the launch of NANO-PRINT plus. He was kind enough to present me a sweet box as a token of appreciation (printed on his NANO-PRINT with multiple special effects). It was quite amazing and touching moment to know how much Grafica’s customers in remote places loves their NANO-PRINT and how much change it brought into their business and of course their life.

We showed live demo of two jobs with multiple special effects such as tikki (raised printing), micro embossing effects, etc. There was almost uncontrollable rush in out stall during the live printing demo.

My company had also sponsored Grafica’s NANO-PRINT to be given free to the winner of ‘Emerging Screen Printer’ of the Year award. The award was bagged by Belgaum-based Kalarts & Screens. I was called on the stage to present the award to the winner, Mr. Vilas Savagaonkar.

Despite heavy rush at my stall I made it point to visit the Awards’ gallery and I was glad to see that majority of the award winners were my valued customers.

I am not congratulating them here, one by one, but I am posting individual letters to CONGRATULATE them on their achievement. There was drastic improvement in the quality of their entries.

I also admire some of my customers who were new entrants in the Screen Print India Awards competition and on their debut itself they won recognition for their excellent work.

My company was a Knowledge Partner for Mike Young’s three day seminar held at the exhibition venue.  All three days the seminar was attended by many printers including some of my valued customers. They felt the seminar was informative.

Holding his lens closely, my friend, Mike Young spent plenty of time in evaluating each and every new samples of DMI’s creativity which were on display at the exhibition. He commented that these were world class award winning screen printed jobs and patted on the backs of DMI students.

I am grateful to Mike Young who spent almost an hour with my students explaining them various new technologies and gave them lot of tips on screen printing process. I could see lot of smile on their faces. They felt rich in terms of knowledge after interacting with the expert.

The stall was also visited by 150 students from J.J. School of Arts, Mumbai who got the glimpses of modern screen printing world in action. A team of DMI’s faculties explained them the concepts of value addition and special effects printing through screen printing process.

Just little background about my new machine: NANO-PRINT plus is an ergonomically designed low cost high quality screen printing machine with an unusual look.

Grafica’s NANO-PRINT plus was really a show stopper and bagged “THE BEST PRODUCT Award”. When I was called on the stage to receive the award the whole gathering cheered and my entire team rushed to the stage with jubilation to join me while receiving the recognition.

Grafica’s NANO-PRINT plus is available in max 18” x 24” print area (also available in 22” x 28” print area as optional).

NANO-PRINT plus does not require expensive air compressor to operate, its single phase easy to operate.

Besides incorporating all the salient features of Grafica’s NANO-PRINT, launched a year ago, NANO-PRINT plus has adjustable screen frame holder, variable printing stroke length, single/double stroke selection, digital stroke  counter, parallel screen frame  movement which is convenient for spot UV varnish and low viscosity inks  to  avoid ink overflow and spillage.

Optionally there are two other features available, peel off mechanism to achieve fine reproduction of halftone dots and avoid smudging, bleeding and smearing; and vacuum by foot to register on curly and unstable paper/substrates accurately and easily.

Based on my success of launching NANO-PRINT a year ago and customers’ feedback, Grafica’s design team had closely evaluated the market needs and NANO-PRINT plus was the offspring of their innovative thinking and R&D. I feel that my ergonomically designed Grafica’s NANO-PRINT plus will drive away all the work hazards of manual screen printing in India.

To my surprise NANO-PRINT plus also received two export orders immediately after its unveiling. I feel my NANO-PRINT plus made a positive beginning and will create a big bang in the screen printing industry.

I had launched NANO-PRINT a year ago and now over 300 such machines are working in full swing all over India and abroad.

Following this success six months ago, I had launched two another innovative product Grafica’s NANO-SCREEN MAKER 5-in-1 & NANO-SHARPENER. This product has become a talk of the screen printing industry because it is the world’s first 5-in-1 screen making setup.

As per my knowledge goes, perhaps my company is the only screen printing machine manufacturer in the world to launch three innovative products within one year that too targeted to common screen printers.

Further by combining NANO-PRINT, NANO-SCREEN MAKER, NANO-UV and NANO-SHARPENER, my company introduced NANO-PREMIER LEAGUE, a complete innovative screen printing solution aimed at bringing complete freedom to screen printers.

For me and my company, the exhibition was a mile stone exhibition in the screen printing industry because so far the company has been displaying high end screen printing machines and now onwards my company will be in touch with every screen printers to make their dream a reality with these two wonderful low cost yet high quality attractive screen printing machine package.

Screen Print India 2010 exhibition brought a resounding success to my company with huge order bookings not only Nano-Print series of machines but we also booked many orders of Cam-Shell, Cylinder Press & UV-Jet Air Dryers and other range of products.

To sum up the 3-day expo was most refreshing and exciting moment for me and my team. This indicates that Screen Printing Industry is growing in India with urge to go towards automation.

How can I just wind  up this blog without greatly thanking my friend Mike Young and Michael Robertson, who had whole heartedly accepted my invitation to do the honors by cutting ribbon and cake to mark the launch of NANO-PRINT plus.

The organizer of Screen Print India and a board member of ASPT Devang Sheth was kind hearted to honor me for all the support my company Grafica extended towards the success of his exhibition and also sponsoring, Mike Young Seminar & NANO-PRINT to the winner of upcoming screen printer of the year.

I also admire and thank all my valued customers from all over India who visited my stall and witnessed live demo of NANO-PRINT plus, other machines and DMI’s creative sample gallery.

As a goodwill gesture, Noel D’Cunha, News Editor of Print Week India Magazine presented the photo frame of my article (To the guru of screen print with love – my tribute to Michel Caza) published by them recently. It’s was really a touching moment because Grafica is not here to sell its machines, it building relationship and goodwill across the entire printing industry. I sincerely thank Ramu, Editor, Print Week India Magazine & his team.

I am now preparing ground for yet another mega event PRINT PACK INDIA 2011 expo in New Delhi to be held from 16 to 21 January 2011.

If you have missed Screen Print India 2010 exhibition this is another chance to see all our new innovative screen printing machines live in action.

So let’s meet at Print Pack.

Wishing you in advance Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2011.

See you soon,
